1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information (via Clerk)
We collect:
- Email
- Name or display name
- Clerk user ID
- Avatar URL (optional)
1.2 User Content
Stored securely in Supabase:
- Goals created
- Tasks created
- AI-generated goals/tasks
- User's custom input for AI generation
- Onboarding preferences (goal category, interests, motivation)
1.3 Analytics (Mixpanel)
We collect anonymized usage and behavioral data to improve the app.
1.4 AI Processing (OpenAI API)
When generating suggestions:
- We send user prompts and relevant goal/task context to OpenAI.
- We store both user input and OpenAI's output.
- OpenAI may temporarily store data for abuse detection.
1.5 Subscriptions & Payments (RevenueCat)
RevenueCat collects non-sensitive metadata:
- Subscription status
- Purchase tokens
- Active entitlements
We do not access or store any credit card information.
1.6 Push Notifications (Expo Notifications)
If enabled:
- We store your Expo push token to deliver reminders and motivational notifications.
1.7 No Sensitive Data Collected
We do NOT collect:
- Location data
- Health data
- Contacts, photos, or files (unless voluntarily provided)
- Device crash logs (currently)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use data to:
- Authenticate accounts
- Store goals, tasks, and preferences
- Provide AI-generated suggestions
- Improve app experience via analytics
- Manage subscriptions via RevenueCat
- Send notifications
- Enforce AI generation & feature limits
We never sell personal data.
3. Sharing of Information
3.1 With Third-Party Providers
We share necessary data with:
- Clerk (authentication)
- Supabase (database & storage)
- OpenAI (AI suggestions)
- Mixpanel (analytics)
- RevenueCat (subscriptions)
- Expo Notifications (push notifications)
3.2 Legal Compliance
We may disclose data to comply with applicable law.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Data is retained until your account is deleted.

All related data will be permanently removed.

We use encryption and industry-standard security measures, but no system is fully secure.
6. Children's Privacy
ClearPath is intended for users 13+.
